Inventory

Inventory keeps material definitions, available stocks and reusable remnants, as well as information you can reuse when preparing cutting plans. It includes Materials, Assemblies, Storages, and Edgebands.

You do not need to maintain an inventory to use CutLogic 2D. You can enter stocks, parts, and cutting settings directly in each plan. Inventory becomes useful when you work repeatedly with the same materials, want to reuse part definitions or cutting settings, or need to track physical stocks and remnants.

Stocks loaded from Inventory remain recorded there until the plan is closed. Closing a plan updates the quantities of stocks actually used and adds reusable remnants. For details, see Closing and reopening plans.
