Plans are where you prepare, optimize, and manage cutting jobs. Each plan contains one material, the available sheets or other stocks, the rectangular parts to cut, cutting settings, and the resulting cutting layouts.

To open Plans, select File > Plans or press Ctrl+1. Use the Plans, Stocks, Parts, Settings, and Results tabs to work with the selected plan.

For a typical job, create a plan, add stocks and parts, check the cutting settings, and press F3 to optimize. Then review the layouts and use reports or exports.

You can enter stocks and parts directly, import them, or copy them from Inventory. You can also copy an existing plan or create separate plans automatically for the materials used in an imported part list or assembly.
